Photography
My journey in photography started in 2013 when I bought my first DSLR camera after vacationing in Iceland. The intent was to use the camera to photograph my vacations. However after discovering and photographing the deer in the forest behind my apartment, I instantly became hooked on wildlife photography. Observing and photographing wildlife is both thrilling and relaxing as it offers me a break from the stress of everyday life. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, USA, my home is now Switzerland where I work full-time as an engineer and photograph wildlife in my free time. Balancing work, family and photography is not always easy though. As a result, I usually photograph local wildlife as this allows me to be more flexible with time as well as more creative. Since the locations and animals are nearby, I can return again and again to attempt new ideas and methods until I have the desired end result. One does not need to travel far away to capture exciting moments in nature. I am a member of the group Naturfotografen Schweiz.
I offer workshops in wildlife photography both for group or as private lessons. All of my photos are available to license or to buy as prints. Please contact me for more information. I hope you enjoy viewing my website and experiencing the beauty of wildlife.
